Update on Venue Contract (CH, SF)

• Contract numbers - revised numbers to take all of the hotel rooms
• Deposit
• Internet - JM, MI to draft a short para for inclusion in contract

Comms (JC, BR, RH, AS)

• Logo design - contact between Naomi & Barry. Should have by 2/11
• Web site design - start implementing w/c 5/11
• Web site hosting- moved to bigger amazon instance- will monitor for stability and cost over next month and move to another host if required (JC) - continue to monitor
• Paper submission software- Barry R to install and evaluate OCS and OJS on Amazon instance once he can log on- also going to investigate "Conferencer" wordpress plugin (JC) - DONE :)
• Other- blog "buzz"- can we confirm we're happy to start automatically picking up "buzz" from other blogs (JC) - Agreed, post list of sites that will be polled

Sponsorship (SF)

• Update - Sponsorship brochure agreed to be posted on website 29/10

Academic Track (BK, FJB, SA)

1. Update: BK met with FJB in Switzerland. Discussed working division, etc.
   
2. Reviewers: All feel free to look at the list (https://basecamp.com/1920286/projects/762306-foss4g-13/documents/1360454-academic-track-list) and add. We should send invites out soon(ish) but after (3)
   
3. Paper submission software: Barry R installed OJS on foss4g2013 site. Will test and try out, FJB has some experience with OCS.
