FOSS4G 2013 Announces Sponsorship Packages

Nottingham, UK, November 1 2012

The leading global free and open source geospatial conference has today announced sponsorship opportunities for the 2013 conference to be held in Nottingham, UK, in September of next year.

This conference gives businesses large and small the chance to engage with developers, end-users, academic researchers and high-level decision makers in the growth area that is the geospatial field.

Steven Feldman, conference chair said, "I am very excited to be chairing FOSS4G 2013. We have an outstanding organising team who will deliver a stimulating and wide ranging programme of workshops, presentations, academic papers and discussions. The Nottingham site is a perfect venue, combining an ultra-modern conference centre with a beautifully landscaped university campus, and both luxury and budget on-site accommodation."

Further details of the sponsorship packages are available from the conference web site: http://2013.foss4g.org/sponsorship-opportunities/

Jo Cook on November 2, 2012:

Great! Out all day but I'm happy for it to go out like this

Steven Feldman on November 2, 2012:

Made a couple of ultra minor tweaks, bet you can't spot them.

Let it roll

Barry Rowlingson on November 7, 2012:

I'm done for time on this this week, what with the logo work and ongoing web stuff. Someone else step in and get this out?

Antony Scott on November 7, 2012:

Just back from abroad, catchup mode. Might be able to do this tomorrow?

Antony Scott on November 8, 2012:

OK I can get this out over the next couple of days, will start a spreadsheet to track where it's gone. I think we need an email contact for editors to come back for more details - Steven, are you OK for yours to go in? (which one?).
Antony

Steven Feldman on November 8, 2012:

Antony I am fine to be the editorial contact could you either point them at sponsor@2013.foss4g.org or send them to http://knowwhereconsulting.co.uk/contact/

Antony Scott on November 8, 2012:

OK have made a start on this, see new tracking spreadsheet (shared with comms group) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoW_Kvx6vYhTdE9fVE1Qb0VIcUVMaDExS0JuaXQ5Z0E. If you send any, please add. There are three sources of contacts to work from (so far):
Don't suppose we will get through all of them, but will work through what I can in the next few days.
