Files uploaded to Basecamp, no response from Google, waiting for hi-res Met Office.

Jo Cook on August 14, 2013:

Got these ones from Google from when they initially sent their logos for the sponsor gallery- hopefully some will be OK

Guidelines for OS:

0301 is to be used on a coloured background
0302 is to be used on a white background.

Min size is 20 mm wide

Exclusion zone is half the height of the symbol, all the way around.

And the Met Office - that should be the set now, will try to get them all into a doc later today.

Transparent OS logos

Jo Cook on August 14, 2013:

OS and Met Office both want to approve the composite image before it goes to the printers, so I guess we might as well offer that to everyone?

Google eps files.

Landscape version of Met Office eps

Jo Cook on August 20, 2013:

Thanks Antony, are you in a position to mock these up into one big logo (including the main FOSS4G one) or shall I have a go?

Jo

Antony Scott on August 20, 2013:

I could do that - any requirements on sizes/orders of logos, and size of doc? Otherwise Inkscape SVG files are all in a Dropbox folder I could share with you, whichever you prefer.

Jo Cook on August 20, 2013:

I guess we're looking at the bottom third of an A4 page- so whatever works best, bearing in mind that the likes of Ordnance Survey have a buffer zone around their logo that can't be encroached upon.

If you get chance to knock something together that would be great, I'm totally snowed under right now...

Antony Scott on August 20, 2013:

OK – will have a crack at it tonight.

Antony Scott on August 20, 2013:

Jo, how does this look? Wasn't sure what is was for - the goodies? Can tweak if needed, however have included the svg source. I tried a png but is has some strange masking which I don't understand, but the PDF looks OK...

Jo Cook on August 21, 2013:

Hi Antony,

I think this looks fine. Maybe we should put it out for general comment (Rollo, Jeremy, Barry, Steven)- then when they are happy (today if poss) we need to create the white on black background version for the clipboard. I'll put it out for comment now.

Thanks a lot :-)

Jo
