The most important news of the GRASS project is that it has sucessfully passed the OSGeo incubation process. The graduation suggested by the Incubation committee has been approved in the 33rd board meeting on Feb. 8th, 2008. A lot of energy was necessary from the GRASS developers and the community during the two years to meet the requirements of the OSGeo Foundation. Another import news is the migration of the GRASS CVS server (hosted by Intevation, Germany) into a SVN server on OSGeo infrastructure (\url{https://svn.osgeo.org/grass/grass}). The decision has been made after a vote by the GRASS Project Steering Committee. The GRASS community would like to thank the team from Intevation for hosting the GRASS CVS server and bugtracker for the past seven years. Their work has been a great benefit and has had a large share on the success of the project. GRASS 6.2.3, which included only several bugfixes, was published on Nov. 27th, 2007. The fifth release candidate of the technology preview version GRASS 6.3.0 was published on Feb. 19th, 2008. GRASS 6.3.0 RC5 adds hundreds of new features, support for the latest GIS data formats, and includes new translations for many languages. It is the first version which also runs natively on MS-Windows. Additionally, the prototype of a new Python based user interface is included. The start of the GRASS 7 development is scheduled for February 2008. On the project website, the screenshot section was rebuild (\url{http://grass.osgeo.org/screenshots}).
