• QPasa (Performance & Availability Monitoring), and QNami (Business Transaction Monitoring)
• Designed the logical and physical data models.
• Implemented most of the database and large parts of the core server, middle-tier, and client components.
• Performed majority of the large scale tests to simulate large customer environments.
• Tuned / optimized the database and other core components, which resulted in 5-6 times better performance / scalability, compared with previous versions of the same products.
• StatWatch ( MQ Business Transaction Management product, acquired from another company)
• Redesigned the physical layout of the original data warehouse, optimized the SQL components of the collection agent and the reporting framework in order to improve the scalability of the system, and satisfy customer requirements.

Feb-1997 – Apr-2001. Database Developer via Analysts International Corp, Minneapolis, MN, USA

• Project at Metavante (former M&I Data Services). Migrated the Money Line Express from an older OTL code base to the newest version of OTL at the time. Optimized the SQL components to meet the increasing data volume requirements (20-25% a year).
  
• Project at Honeywell, Collection Management System. Designed the data warehouse, implemented the ETL, OLAP, SQL and stored procedure components. Developed and tuned the database backend and middle-tier of the Reporting Service that was used for concurrent access over WAN from the Web by a large number of money collection agents.
  
• Projects at TravelersExpress
• Conversion (full rewrite) of the Official Check legacy system from IBM OS/390 to Oracle. Developed and optimized key SQL and PL/SQL components, automated system build & version control processes, developed  a PL/SQL-to-HTML converter for publishing PL/SQL code on the project Web site (team work automation utility)
• Advised the team of developers of the Money Line Express system (that was acquired by M&I Data Services in 1999) on how to design the data model for a more efficient use with OTL in a high data volume environment.

• Implemented, reverse engineered, converted, and optimized the following Power Control systems: Load Forecast Populator, Advanced Application Export, Interchange Transaction Scheduler, Long/Midterm Resource Scheduler, Short Term Load Forecaster.

Aug-1988 – Oct-1992. Researcher. Siberian Division of Russian Academy of Sciences, AI Lab, Novosibirsk, Russia. Senior developer of natural language front end for relational databases InterBASE.

• Developed the GUI, Intermediate Query Language Compiler, Database Search Engine, Internal Object Repository (for Large Thesauri, etc.), Automated Database Scanner / Keyword & Pattern Collector.
  
• InterBASE won the first award of the Russian Association of Artificial Intelligence in 1990.
• InterBASE was a finalist in the "Software in Europe" contest at CeBIT 93 computer exhibit, Hannover, Germany. The award was a free-of-charge booth for presenting InterBASE at the exhibit.
