The french translation of the button text is too long for the buttons. See http://moritz.homelinux.o

Hi,

right now the descriptions where changed. A chance
to revisit the translation... just edit the .po
file with kbabel (or vim if you know what you do).

My French isn't sufficient to do that.

I just committed a "solution" to the immediate issue, i.e. using a
different text for the "Enter GRASS" button. This obviously is not a
solution to the general problem of fitting translated text into buttons
which are sized for English text.

I saw your CVS commit of 2006.10.01. Is it related and does it solve the bug
reported?

Please CC me: tutey at o2.pl

As said in my last message in the bug tracker:

"I just committed a "solution" to the immediate issue, i.e. using a

So, yes it does solve the issue of the startup screen (for French, don't
know about other languages), but IMO we need to find a way to watch out
for these issue more automatically.

Hi,

I don't think that translation can be automated.
We assume that the problem is solved. Feel free to re-open if not.
