Subject: d.area documentation for catnum options needs update

Platform: Linux/Intel
Linux distro: Debian
linux cpu: Intel (i486, i586, pentium ...)
Xwindows version: Xfree 4.0.x
Xwindows manager: WindowMaker
TclTk version: tcl/tk 8.2
grass downloaded at: Trento site
grass binary for platform: I compiled the sources myself
grass sources source: GRASS 5.0.0pre3
c compiler name: gcc

When trying to enter more than one catnum in d.area (d.area map=in catnum=value1,
value2), the entire list needs to be quoted (catnum='value1, value2) or otherwise
the program rejects all cats other than the first. This should at least be documented.

This is the way Unix shells behave.

The usual solution is not to use spaces, i.e.

	d.area map=in catnum=value1,value2

This is basic Unix knowledge; it belongs in a book on using Unix
(as well as the sh(1) manual page, where it is documented), not in
the GRASS documentation.
