Subject: changing monitor dimensions does not change x0
Platform: Linux/Intel
Linux distro: Debian
linux cpu: Intel (i486, i586, pentium ...)
Xwindows version: Xfree 4.0.x
Xwindows manager: WindowMaker
TclTk version: tcl/tk 8.2
grass downloaded at: Trento site
grass binary for platform: I compiled the sources myself
grass sources source: GRASS 5.0.0pre3
c compiler name: gcc
When changing the default display dimension using tcltkgrass (through the config
menu), all displays will use these new dimensions except for x0 which stays at
the previously defined size, even after quitting grass5 and restarting. |

When TclTkGrass exits it is not changing the diplay dimensions for monitors it
knows about. For a quick work around, edit ~/.tcltkgrass and delete
references like "xdriver (x0, window_geometry) 400x600+20+40". Delete the
accompanying entry with "window_state", as well. |

Hi,
tcltkgrass (and it's successor d.m) is no longer actively being developed.
Thus d.m wishes will go unfufilled, tagging this as "won't fix", and closing
the wish.
Try the new GUI (gis.m) instead.
regards,
Hamish
