Subject: Xos.h not found
Platform: Linux/Intel
Linux distro: Mandrake
Xwindows version: Xfree 4.0.x
Hello all !
I would like to mention that your configure file doesn't properly detect if the
XWindow development
is present on the machine.
I got the source code apparently perfectly compiled, but was unable to open a
Windows port (No
Socket ...)
The mistake was that the compilation phase didn't compile the XDRIVER because
it couldn't file
Xos.h Xutil.h ...
I hope this help.

Hi,
could you please check if this is still the case?
IMHO configure does not succeed if the X11 development libraries and headers
are not installed. So compilation should not be possible without. But i can
not test, as a have no X11-free machine around.
