Subject: v.proj -l doesn't work

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: Mirror of Trento site
grass binary for platform: Downloaded precompiled Binaries
GRASS Version: grass-5.7.cvs-i686-pc-linux-gnu-26_06_20

When I try to use -l to have v.proj to 'list vector files in input location'.
But it just tells me that
'Required parameter <input> not set:'

(Really, I am deeply impressed, I was using grass around 5.0, but have done other
things for a
while and just came back. Keep on the good work! Hope that my bugreports are
useful and
not just telling that I have not managed to set up my system correctly)

Morten,

you have to specify a dummy input name, then -l works.

Aaah, vielen Dank.

Could I just propose a clearification for the manal:
< List vector files in input location and exit
>	List vector files in input location and exit A dummy value must be given for
> input

Of cource, as input is not in square brackets, it should be clear that a value
must be given, but it is a bit counter intuitive.

Morten,

I have no idea how to optionalize the input parm in
the parser section (maybe you know).
For now I have extended the message as suggested.
