Subject: d.m: window height control between layers list and layer properties
needed

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: CVS
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: cvs 26.10.2005

I miss the ability to control the height of layers list window and layer properties
window in d.m. I find uncomfortable to control their height by dragging the d.m
commands window, which is the only way for now.

Otherwords, see:

It would be great if the control from point no 1. could be added to point no
2. as well.

If anyone knows how to implement a set of vertically-oriented paned windows
(monitor buttons and layer tree), followed by a pair of
horizontally-oriented paned windows (options panel and output window) with a
movable sash between them please implement it--or tell me and I will
implement it.

As far as I can see, you have to create paned windows as either vertical or
horizontal. That means that you have to create two different paned windows
if you want to switch from vertical to horizontal.
