Subject: problem importing tif files

I have a problem when I import a tif file with r.in.gdal command, it takes an
error:

r.in.gdal: error while loading shares libraries: libodbc.so.1 cannot open
share d object file: no such file or directory

With r.in.tiff I cannot import the file too, the program doesn't find the file!
Thanks

You will have do install the ODBC libraries as the GDAL libraries
on your system obviously depend on that.
