In v.report, there's no way to turn off the
Processing line ^H^H^H
stuff. Sure one can do 2>&-, but that will wipe out any error messages.
Same for v.support I bet.
Hold on, there are tons of
GIS WARNING: category support for vector file [95211sw04.94423] in
mapset [jidanni] missing
messages in my mailbox, not mentioning what command caused them. And
of course that they will be sent is not mentioned on their man page.
Maybe next time I should use /dev/null.

GRASS 5.7 comes with a new G_message() system.
However, still to apply in the major part of the code. |

I can't confirm any 'Processing line jazz' in the spearfish data set, using
2006-07-31 cvs. v.report outputs all queries into the output tab of gis.m gui.
From the command line, the output from v.report is simply printed to the
terminal. Should this bug be closed? Or do we need to test on much larger
vector datasets as well?

You are right Eric. I can't reproduce v.report spit out anything strange in
spearfish60. I hope Dan provided *any* test case; actually it is not even
clear what he meant. Closing.
