Subject: s.hull bug?
Platform: Linux/Intel
Linux distro: SuSe, debian
linux cpu: AMD (K6, ...)
Xwindows version: Xfree 3.3.6
Xwindows manager: KDE 2.x
TclTk version: tcl/tk 8.3
grass downloaded at: Trento site
grass binary for platform: Linux/Intel binaries
grass sources source: yes, I am using the latest GRASS from CVS, last w. build
c compiler name: gcc
Hi all,
I try to get a raster mask from a convex hull build with s.hull.
With v.to.rast i got a great white rectangle nearly filling the grass monitor.
After labeling the area in the hullvector v.to.rast is working fine.
won't say it is a bug but maybe it is possible to get directly from
s.hull to v.to.rast.
anyway
great work so far!
best regards

I have updated s.hull so that a label point is generated.
Now v.build will recognize the hull as a polygon. The bug-fix
is already in CVS and will be included in the forthcoming
release candidate 3. |
