In GRASS 5.7, nearly all commands now start with autogenerated tcltk
dialogs. Each of these have a help button that opens the html manual page
for the command. This is pretty detailed for most commands. In those with
missing or incomplete help data, this can easily be fixed by any volunteer
willing to write it.

When I run g.access help, I do get a short usage description, however (see
below). Considerably more detail is available in the html help page of
course.

GRASS 5.7.cvs:~ > g.access help

Description:
This program allows the user to control access to the current mapset.

Usage:
 g.access [group=name] [other=name]

Parameters:
  group Access for group
          options: grant,revoke
  other Access for others
          options: grant,revoke
