Subject: missing db help pages
Hi,
db/drivers/mysql/mesql.html
db/drivers/mysql/mysql.html
db/drivers/odbc/odbc.html
don't get copied into $GISBASE/docs/html/
??
linked from:
http://grass.itc.it/grass61/manuals/html61_user/databaseintro.html
http://grass.itc.it/grass61/manuals/html61_user/sql.html
and should MeSql be listed on the databaseintro.html page?

These pages are only copied if the driver is compiled
(because otherwise the directory is not entered at all).
The concept is to only install docs where drivers are
available. A related note is given in the parent help
page.

Is that concept OK? Why shouldn't the user be able to learn about Grass-mysql
or Grass-sqlite interaction not having built Grass --with either of them?
Usually first we try to learn about the very basics and caveats befer going
for something - just to make sure it is worth trying at all.
Besides, dead links in manual are not desired.

Yes. Because otherwise people are confused about functionality
which is actually not available in the local installation.
This was always a pain with GRASS 5.
Since the original request is solved, I'll close.
