Subject: saved state for windows positions

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: CVS
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: 6.1 cvs

Carlos H Grohmann - IGc-USP - Brazil

In GRASS 5.4, when you ended a session, you could save the state of all windows,
so when you started a new session, all would be in the same place. That's not
what happens in 6.0/6.1. Every time you start a session, the display manager
starts in the cernert of the screen, and if you had left some windows opened
the last time you used it (like your most used commands) they won't be there
either. Can it be done?

This is because scripting no longer works in GRASS 6. Scripting could be
added to GRASS 6 by a creative programmer with time and interest.
