Subject: p.vrml not included in 5.0.0pre3 binaries linux

Platform: Linux/Intel
Linux distro: Debian
linux cpu: AMD (K6, ...)
Xwindows version: Xfree 4.0.x
Xwindows manager: wmaker
TclTk version: tcl/tk 8.3
grass downloaded at: Baylor site
grass binary for platform: Linux/Intel binaries

it seems that p.vrml is no included in the precompiled bins linux/intel grass5.0.0pre3
i have followed the install instruction and the files
/usr/local/grass5/man/man1/p.vrml.1
and
/usr/local/grass5/documents/html/p.vrml.html
do exists and documents the functiun
in facts these 2 files are the only results of "find /usr/local/grass5/ |grep
vrml"

typing
"p.vrml"
in the grass shell gives "bash: p.vrml: command not found"

well, i may miss something somewhere since i'm a begginer at using grass

Hi,

the source code of this module is missing in the grass CVS repository.
So obviously it can't be compiled. Perhaps there have been some licensing
problems with the code. Try to search the old mailing messages.

Hi,

I have added p.vrml to the release branch (was missing, I think.)
Now in
src/paint/p.vrml1.1

It's in CVS and will show up in the next CVS snapshot.

Cheers

 Markus
