shared libraries: libpq.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
libpq is the PostgreSQL client library; it has to be present in order
to use GRASS 5.1.

I'm not entirely sure why d.m wans to execute ps.map.
In any case your version of ps.map does not find
libpq.so.2, check that you actually have the file on your machine.
Try "locate libpq.so.2",
check "LD_LIBRARY_PATH" using "echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH",
you could also try using "ldd" on the executable of ps.map itself.
You said, you've downloaded binaries,
maybe you should try to download fresher oner or try to compile
by yourself (you need the development headers for this).
This does not seem to be a GRASS5.1 bug, as it probably has to do with
administrating a Redhat GNU/Linux system in general.
Checking the dynamic libraries is a common system administration task.
Thus I'm closing this report in the GRASS queue. |

Hello,
Thanks for the response,
you are correct,
I did solve the problem long time ago by adding the link to
missing library each time I download weekly grass57 binaries
Thank you for interesting and useful development og Grass
and waiting for the final version.
I do hope that vector
possibilities of Grass will exceed those of ArcInfo
Regards
Jonas Mockus
