Subject: Bad link to IRIX 5.0 pre-compiled

Platform: Irix
grass binary for platform: Downloaded precompiled Binaries
GRASS Version: 5.0

We'd like to download the precompiled binaries, but:

ftp://grass.baylor.edu/pub/grass/grass5/binary/

only has a beta version. Is this just a link error?

Hello
The baylor.edu site is out of date. Any of the other mirrors of the
Italian site (grass.itc.it) will have the up-to-date IRIX binaries. Note
with the current version of the IRIX binaries, GRASS will not work properly
from an IRIX winterm; you need to use an xterm or other terminal emulator.
(This has been fixed in the latest CVS version.)
Please let me know how you get on and if the binaries work for you.

Packages at Baylor are often outdated. Please download from
here (master site):

Thanks for the tip. You'll see a bug report soon from our admin about this version's
problem recognizing the
<esc> <enter> sequence.
