Subject: problem with NVIZ on Suse 9.0

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: CVS
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: 5.0.3 final release

Hi,

  I compiled myself the source code (of grass 5.0.3-final) and used a script
from Markus Neteler to build binaries for GRASS 5.0.3 (and get the code from
CVS). The binaries was compiled with:

System:
i686-pc-linux-gnu, compiled with:
Including precompiled  library for r.in.gdal
Configured with: ../configure --enable-threads=posix --prefix=/usr --with-local-prefix=/usr/local
--infodir=/usr/share/info --mandir=/usr/share/man --libdir=/usr/lib --enable-languages=c,c++,f77,obj
c,java,ada
--disable-checking --enable-libgcj --with-gxx-include-dir=/usr/include/g++ --with-slibdir=/lib
--with-system-zlib --enable-shared --enable-__cxa_atexit i586-suse-linux
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux)

  I also have to use a "--without-motif" because I was unable to find motif on
my machine. I also used g.dal version 1.1.9.
  Anyway, I have tested it (the binary and the compiled in two computers with
Suse 9.0) and found a bug on NVIZ every time that I use the perspective, height
and zexag sliders. The log of this error is below:

can't read "Priv(.top2.panelarea.panels.main.midf.height.scale,relief)": no such
element in array
can't read "Priv(.top2.panelarea.panels.main.midf.height.scale,relief)": no such
element in array
   while executing
"$w configure -sliderrelief $Priv($w,relief)"
   (procedure "tk::ScaleEndDrag" line 4)
   invoked from within
"tk::ScaleEndDrag .top2.panelarea.panels.main.midf.height.scale"
   (command bound to event)

   This bug doesnt crash NVIZ, but it can show up every time that I used the
sliders.
   I'm using Suse 9.0, that uses Tcl and Tk 8.4. My machine is a Athlon XP 2200,
with 512 Mb RAM.
   Thank you for your time.
   Bye.

NVIZ was fixed (again) in GRASS 6.3. Closing the report.
