Subject: g3.region, change the 3d default region.
Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: Trento Italy site
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
Hello,
When I change the default 3d region, I need exit, and to execute g3.region
again to see the changes. (With grass5pre4)
Example;
-->g3.region
CURRENT REGION: N=1054990 S=1027000 RES= 30 ROWS=933
E=1000000 W= 982000 RES= 30 COLS=600
T= 4500 B= 2500 RES=2000 DEPTHS=1
-->1 Modify current 3d region directly
(I change, for example, T=4500 to T=6500), but I have this AGAIN
CURRENT REGION: N=1054990 S=1027000 RES= 30 ROWS=933
E=1000000 W= 982000 RES= 30 COLS=600
T= 4500 B= 2500 RES=2000 DEPTHS=1
later...
-->RETURN
-->g3.region
Now I can see the changes
CURRENT REGION: N=1054990 S=1027000 RES= 30 ROWS=933
E=1000000 W= 982000 RES= 30 COLS=600
T= 6500 B= 2500 RES=2000 DEPTHS=1
Thanks,
Guillermo Felipe

Hi,
G3D things have been improved in GRASS 5.7-CVS.
Does the problem persist?

g3.region was integrated into g.region in GRASS 6. Please let us know if the
bug still persists.
