When attempting to create a location using EPSG codes, the code chart
returns a message in the lines for South Africa(Codes 22277 to 22293)
zones 16 to 31:

"Unable to translate co-ordinate system into proj 4"

these codes that fail cover the entire South African area

Riad Khan

Hi,

I checked PROJ4, the EPSG codes 22277 and 22293 seem to be missing there
while they are present in GDAL:

cd /usr/local/share/gdal

grep 22277 *
pcs.csv:22277,South African Coordinate System zone
17,9001,4222,17517,9808,8801,0.0,9102,8802,17.0,9102,8805,1.0,9201,8806,0.0,9001,8807,0.0,9001,,,,,,

grep 22293 *
pcs.csv:22293,South African Coordinate System zone
33,9001,4222,17533,9808,8801,0.0,9102,8802,33.0,9102,8805,1.0,9201,8806,0.0,9001,8807,0.0,9001,,,,,,

Also g.proj doesn't like it:
g.proj -c proj4='+init=epsg:22293' location=southafrica_z33
Segmentation fault

Right now I don't know how to fix that.
