Subject: v.in.mif does nothing
Platform: Linux/Intel
Linux distro: Mandrake
linux cpu: AMD (K6, ...)
Xwindows version: Xfree 4.0.x
Xwindows manager: KDE 2.x
TclTk version: tcl/tk 8.3
grass downloaded at: Hannover site
grass binary for platform: Linux/Intel binaries
I tried to use v.in.mif for importing a MapInfo vector map.
I didn't get any error message, but no result either. The program
just finished without leaving any new vector maps on my disk.
Regards,
Ben |

Eventually David Gray will offer an update soon. At least
we expect a rather new v.in.shape these days.

Unfortunalty v.in.mif is currently broken.
Since June 2002 its build is disabled by default.
Offer help to the development list.

Please use v.in.ogr instead (G5.7).
