hello,
using v.database or db.connect i expected to be prompted for a password at
command line or by a popup window but i got just an error message concerning
user/password. i could enter the database only by this option which wasn't
documented anywhere:
v.database dr=pg database="host=xxx,dbname=sabine,user=sabine,password=pwd"
markus neteler suggested me to report this bug.
yours, sabine

Hi,
does the bug persist? I guess it's fixed now.
