Subject: i.ortho.photo: second control point set, but not displayed

i.ortho.photo
 - if second control point is set by mouse, it is not indicated
immediately in orange color (right window) [was o.k. in GRASS 4.x]

 - GIS WARNING: Can't write embedded null values for map open for random
access: i.ortho.photo/photo.rectify/write.c needs to be updated.
   (bug still there? 4/2001)

Sorry. It appears in
7. Compute ortho-rectification parameters

you have the unrectified aerial image to the left and the raster
reference to the right. When clicking a ground control point (GCP)
in the left, you get a small colored circle in place, when clicking
into the reference image to the right, this small colored circle
doesn't appear (immediately). In i.points that's o.k.
It appears *after* accepting the button (left mouse button), however,
it should appear immediately with orange color and change to green
if accepted with left mouse button.

Hope this clarifies the problem,

 Markus

I've added a call to R_stabilize() to mouse() in
src/imagery/i.ortho.photo/photo.2target/input.c

Can someone familiar with i.ortho.photo test it?

Hi Andreas,

no the problem is not resolved yet. When you click on the corresponding
GCP on the reference map, it doesn't appear immediately (as it does in
i.points. Do you don't know where you have clicked. Nevertheless, the
point is registered.

Was working in 4.x...

Ciao

 Markus

Hi,

i have tested i.ortho.photo again. The problem remains,
that the second GCP should be drawn *before* the module
asks for confirmation.

Help! :-)

Hi,

not yet resolved. The problem seems to be that
src/imagery/i.ortho.photo/photo.2target/mark.c

lacks the dot() function in the screen() function.
I tried, but no idea how to fix it.
