Subject: r.fill.dir exits with segmenation fault.

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: CVS
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: cvs-update of today morning

g.version
GRASS 5.0.0pre4 (May 2002)

Hello,
I used r.fill.dir on on a lat-long region of swiss (WGS84) and everything worked
fine. The filled
DEM was OK.
On a lat_long location of Sri-Lanca (wgs84) it bailed out with seg-fault after
the first pass.

As a workarround I downgraded to cvs-branch "release_13_september_2001_grass5_0_0_pre2"
and
everything works fine.

Maybe someone can have a look at it.

Is this bug still valid for the latest release?

I cannot reproduce it just now.
The release I am running just now is working fine on Gauss-Krueger
locations.
GRASS ~ > g.version
GRASS 5.0.0 (August 2002)
