bugreport: After I switched from XF86 3.3.6 to 4.0.1 I ran into trouble with
the GRASS monitors: If I move a window over one of the monitors,
the contents get erased to black. This happens with KDE 1.2 as well
as 2.0 and fvwm2. So it seems to be a problem with the way GRASS
monitors handle window content refreshs?

Hi Benjamin,
please see GRASS FAQ:
http://www.geog.uni-hannover.de/grass/faq/xfree4.html
.. but this does not help for KDE(2). Same problem here.
Currently the XDRIVER is being revised to allow
- close by clicking
- auto.repaint if resized
- become faster
- fix this repaint problem
We hope to get it running for 5.0stable.
Maybe the FAQ helps for fvwm2?
Cheers
Markus

This bug is fixed now. Eric Miller has benn developing an updated
XDRIVER with other nice features, it will become the standard
driver soon.
