Is show.fonts.sh still to be mentioned?
$ grep -c show display/d.font/description.html
2

Also d.font.freetype should say what file can set the font so he
doesn't have to put the whole path each time. Note e.g.,
/usr/lib/grass57/etc/freetypecap isn't writable by the user. Also
there is no user usable instructions there.

Also not all d.font.freetype's defaults might be listed with d.font.freetype
help.
Also what good is writing text if one can't place it on a background...
to block what is underneath, like d.barscale can.

Probably show.fonts.sh should be added as d.show.fonts.sh.

??

http://grass.itc.it/grass57/manuals/html57_user/d.font.freetype.html

Defaults are always listed.
Unlisted things are not defaults.

This seems to be unrelated to d.font.freetype which selects fonts.

Now show.fonts.sh removed from that page.

Some instructions added.
