v.label help mentions p.map, which is gone.
d.paint.labels help also mentions some p things.
g.manual v.label doesn't say what d program one uses to display the labels.

And this probably is busted these days:
v.label -a map=contourtest5 column=level labels=contourtest8
Labeled 57 lines.
d.paint.labels labels=contourtest8
Error: rotate: 15.924559...
Without the -a the error messages are gone, but it just draws circles on
the monitor, just the same.

P.S.
v.out.ascii contourtest5 out=contourtest99
find ~jidanni/tmp/grassdata -cmin -1
doesn't find anything, nor does -mmin, i.e., v.out.ascii doesn't do anything
anymore.
g.version
GRASS 6.0.0beta2 (2005)

These are fixed as I can see.

What about this one? Anybody?

And this, does anybody know?

Maciek

P.S.

Dan, could you retest and post an update or tell me to close the bug?

I did a bit of a fix up on d.paint.labels in June to support rotated
text. Everything should be a-ok now.

Only features with a category number will be exported. In points mode
only points will be exported. I've added a note to the help page.

Closing the bug.

Best I can do is report any new bugs I see next time I use (debian
sid) grass in a few months.

I've written some impoved documentation for v.label that explains how gis.m
must be used to view the label file. I'll submit this to the dev list in a few
days once I get some feedback on whether I've been diff-ing the man pages
correctly.

I think Dan's response set the bug status back to 'open'. Based my man page
update combined with Hamish's fix given above, I think this one can be closed.

Can you send it to me now? Your recent patches have been all OK.

I'll close it when the doc is updated.

Thanks!
