Subject: tkltkgrass error message doesn't stay on screen
Platform: Linux/Intel
Linux distro: SuSe
linux cpu: AMD (K6, ...)
Xwindows version: Xfree 4.0.x
Xwindows manager: KDE 2.x
TclTk version: tcl/tk 8.3
grass downloaded at: CVS Server, Germany
grass binary for platform: I compiled the sources myself
grass sources source: yes, I am using the latest GRASS from CVS
c compiler name: gcc
I have a problem where I can't start any monitors. tcltkgrass shows the
errors in a small window that disappears very quickly. Had to use d.mon to
see the error messages. Would be nice for tcltkgrass to show all error
messages in a standard way and then keep them on the screen.

This is related to #831 which is probably the result of a bad build.
Typically tcltkgrass retains the output of commands in a results box. This
also works for d.mon when launched via the "Manage Monitors" dialog.
This isn't really a bug, but maybe a wishlist?
