There does not seem to be a possibility to really join
two lines in v.digit Edit. (Snapping the end point of two lines
on the same position in one node is not enough.)

Still, with 6.02 and cvs going in 6.1, this wish is ever more current. No,
QGis does not help. (At least 0.74 does not.)
Greetings,
Harri K.

Guys,
In recent 6.1 cvs there is a new tool in v.digit: "Edit line/boundary". It
seems to provide exactly the functionality you wished for (me too).
There are still other issues in v.digit remaining but this improvement is
cool. Can you retest and post an update? CC me please werchowyna at epf pl.

Gentlemen,
A week ago I asked you for an update if you acknowledge the feature you wished
for is implemented. In case my message didn't reach you, I'm resending:

The improvements have fixed one problem, and now it is possible to continue an
existing line with the tool Maciek mentioned. However, joining together to
already existing lines is still not possible. But a welcome improvement anyway.
