Subject: Replace Seeds tutorial

GRASS Version: 5.0.3
There is only one actual tutorial (Mr. Lennert's is really more of a manual)
on your site, and it is
nine years old. It seems to be full of old commands (d.colormode float) for which
no useable
explanation of the successor commands is given in the archives, etc. It is also
the only
document you have that bridges the gap between the completely uninformed (like
me) and
professional users (for whom all the other documentation is obviously intended).
It would be
an act of kindness to provide something new for Grass 5. |

In fact the 'seeds' tutorial is old. But there are
several tutorials and books available:
