I would go for the one way link at £850 per day. It will make the banqueting room the overflow but I don't see what else we can do.

Question is do we need it beyond day 1, my hunch is no. What do others think?

I think we get 2 microphones included in the standard AV package but I will check that, we should have an extra one for the banqueting suite so that we can take questions etc in both rooms

The cost of live freed from Conference Theatre to Banqueting Suite would be £850.00 plus VAT per day.  Our AV technician has said that if you have an hour between sessions then they can move camera to go back the other way but I am not sure this will work for you as there is no time in the program for this.

 

The alternative which is to go back and forth would involve setting up a web cast between the two rooms and would cost £3000.00 plus VAT per day. 

 

The cost of additional radio microphones is £50.00 plus VAT per microphone.

 

If you would like to proceed with either of these options if you could let me know at your earliest convenience that would be great.

My apologies, I thought I had answered you but now I cannot find my reply!

 

I think we would like to understand the relative costs between:

  1. Live feed of video and sound from auditorium to banqueting suite (i.e. so delegates in banqueting suite can see and hear what is going in the main auditorium)
  2. Two way feed of live video and sound from auditorium to banqueting and from banqueting to auditorium
  3. Add radio mikes to either of above.

 

My hunch is that cost will restrict us to option 1
