1. ossim.spec is not a proper part of the ossim tarball.
   It is incidentally included in the tarball as it is maintained in 
   the cvs repository with the ossim sources. Changes in ossim.spec
   must be reflected in the `Release:' tag within the ossim.spec file
   but will not cause a change to the version of the tarball.
