Promotional Items and Signage

Posted by Jo Cook on July 17, 2013

Dear All,

Here's a link to the spreadsheet I've been putting together about promotional items and signage: https://docs.google.com/a/astuntechnology.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsG7QYXpWgk7dFUtRzlNdzZkSVNzUUdCOFU2ekNHN1E&usp=sharing You should all have an invite to this but if you can't access the document then let me know.

I think for most of this we have a lead time of around 3 weeks, but I don't want to leave it till then! Ideally I'd like to get this side of things sorted with a good 6 weeks to spare.

Thanks

Jo

Jo, this looks really good.
Can I check the the "gifts" for volunteers - does this need to come in here as well? If so, no idea what/ how many etc.

Should I be asking the volunteers for indicative t shirt sizes as I confirm roles with them? (will this be instead of the conference T shirt, or as well as?)

There are a few smaller items - without a bag, will this work ok at registration - can they be attached to the clip board in a poly pocket or some such way?

Hi Abi,

Good catch about the volunteer gifts- it probably should be included. Can you start a new sheet for that, with the figures as you have them and some rough projections for final numbers?

Regarding t-shirt sizes- I understand that firelabel will do a mixed batch of sizes- we need to decide for all t-shirts whether we are going to ask people what size they would like or if we're going to get a selection (loads of mens XL, a smattering of others).

I'm hoping that the lap-laptop-rest-clipboard will have a folder in it that smaller items can go in. The example link is for a polyprop folder, so it's not exactly what I'm after, but it definitely contains cd holders, pen loops, etc. Still looking for the ideal thing here- so people can definitely chip in with ideas!
