Site house-keeping

Dear Comms Chaps,

For information, I have updated the site to the latest version of wordpress. I have not set up FTP access to the site at the moment, so the automatic upgrade doesn't work. I don't intend to set up FTP access at the moment, as it's by far the easiest way for the site to be hacked- so if you need any files uploaded then either send them to me or put them somewhere web accessible so I can grab them directly from the server. I'm happy to change this if it becomes unworkable, but at the moment I'd rather not get an email when I'm on holiday or with a client to say "the site has been hacked, can you fix it immediately!"

I've also set up better wordpress security to email me when it detects changes to files and folders on the site. So if you do make any changes of that nature (eg not content changes) then let me know so I don't worry about the emails.

Thanks!

Jo
